the sweet taste of success

IHOP was the reward for a job well done! Harley and Marshall put a lot of effort into their piano lessons. Today was the "Guild Auditions" which is a pretty big deal. It is an national honor society for the piano. They must perform their songs by memory in front of a judge. Harley had 10 songs, plus scales. Marshall had 6 songs. They work all year for this event. They both received Superior ratings, with Harley receiving a Superior Plus. It doesn't get much better than that. I don't know what was the better reward: their incredibly high scores, the tasty lunch at IHOP or having a day off from practicing the piano. What do you think???

Hey Gracie, is this lunch or dessert?

That is so awesome guys! Congratulations! Keep it up!
Hey Heidi, Chris gonna share his lunch with you? Or did IHOP help you loose your appetite?

Teresa,
I didn't know we were gonna go to IHOP for lunch. I had already had sushi before the plans were made. I don't think there was anything appetizing on that menu anyway:) I'm not an IHOP kind of girl!

Wow!! Your kids are so talented. Tell them good job! Just a note on IHOP, they just opened one by our house, we haev been there twice and both times had our meals for free- it was bad, once they put moldy kale on my plate! So, I am not an IHOP girl either. Besides we all know you can cook better than that!!
